Okay but a hucklrabbot fic where it’s season one with established Dennis/Jack (but no one knows), where Jack insisted on Dennis getting a rotation in day shift ER cuz Jack wants Dennis to meet Robby, also Robby is the only one Jack would trust putting Dennis under to learn, and a way for Robby to know Jack’s partner (yes Robby knows he has a partner but not who) is competent and amazing. Little does he know Robby will REALLY like his partner and Robby is having a crisis cuz new resident just knows Robby (cuz Whitaker knows who Robby is and has connected him to Jack) and he can’t stop touching and at first Jack witnesses all the touching and is jealous cuz Dennis is his, but as it sinks in he realizes the potential. Dennis is freaking out cuz all the touching and that part of him doesn’t mind it. But then Robby finds out about Hucklebbot and is freaking out cuz he’s into his best friend’s partner and that’s no good

And its not even true tho sksks like dude is very likeable he just doesnt let anyone in anymore & Robby only texts like once in a blue moon (he prefers calling but knows Jack is the opposite so they're stuck at a stalemate).

Enter Dennis Whitaker and Samira Mohan. Somehow these two get ahold of his number and send him funny memes & cute lil texts every other day. At first he's pissed. How dare his much younger lovers disturb his peace like this?? Especially when the texts never match up due to their different shifts. But after a while? Honestly he looks forward to them.

He makes a comment to Robby abt it and the man starts ribbing him till Abbot snaps a "maybe if u weren't such a prick they'd feel comfortable texting u too". Oof. Robby takes it to heart and after wallowing in pity for a while he creates a gc between all 4 of them and Jack greets him all smug at shift change.
