jaehyun x seungyoon u v u
Who cooks normally?: If they had a kitchen, it would be small and plain, complete with the necessary appliances and such, but they would hardly ever make use of it (they’d eat in the living room, even the bedroom— anywhere but the kitchen, really). In the rare case that they do it would be Seungyoon’s duty. Once in a while, Jaehyun tries to make amends by taking over, but it usually ends in inedible food that’s blackened and amorphous and altogether disgusting. Seungyoon attempts to make up for his other half’s incompetence, though it’s a rather difficult task. If he’s too tired they’ll order takeout (which they do 90% of the time). Food isn’t a big deal for them.
How often do they fight?: Not often, as they’re both mild-tempered people, though they sometimes engage in lighthearted banter. It’s very infrequent, and at the end of the day they’re still as content with each other as they had been before.
What do they do when they’re away from each other?: They’ll call each other frequently and have short conversations, usually mundane and simple (“How was your day?” Things like that), though they both know it means much more. Jaehyun likes to write letters to Seungyoon and doodle little pictures on the corners of the page. Seungyoon will usually respond with a few lines from an excerpt of some song. Having worked out a code, certain parts will have certain meanings— it’s their own secret code. Jaehyun will pretend he doesn’t miss the latter while he very childishly sulks. They’ll leave voicemails for each other by either performing on their own or recording a new song they’ve just discovered; these will end with single sentenced notes at the end.
Who is more likely to pay for dinner?: They take turns, though it’s not methodical. Whoever gets to the check first will pay. Money isn’t too much of a concern for them either.
Who steals the covers at night?: The taller of the two, Jaehyun’s limbs often end up sprawling over Seungyoon’s. It’s not his intention, but it usually happens anyways. Seungyoon doesn’t mind too much, although he’ll sometimes push Jaehyun off the bed just to see his reaction. He’s usually the one with the covers, stealing them from Jaehyun as a form of revenge. Jaehyun uses Seungyoon as a pillow instead.
What would they get each other for gifts?: They don’t place emphasis on gifts, but gifts are often a part of their life anyways. Whenever they find a trinket or a book of some sort that they think the other will like, they’ll buy it immediately and bring it home. They have a cabinet where they put some of these gifts.
Who remembers things?: Surprisingly, Seungyoon’s the one who remembers things. Jaehyun doesn’t really see a point in remembering things when he has Seungyoon to depend on.
Who cusses more?: Although neither of them really cuss, Seungyoon does. It’s that very occasional word that slips out when he’s in a hurry or in deep pain, but otherwise they don’t say those kinds of words.
What would they do if the other one was hurt?: They would do anything within their capability to help the other. As clumsy as he is in his efforts, Jaehyun does his best to make the other boy feel better. Seungyoon is more meticulous in his efforts. When either of them is emotionally hurt the other person will sit with them and simply talk and talk and talk about whatever comes to their mind, fingers twining with the others until they feel better.
Who kissed who first?: Jaehyun. Seungyoon had make a joke about it, though it had come out as more of a challenge. It was a chaste one, a bit clumsy and rough around the edges, but it had been a memorable one nonetheless.
Who made the first move?: Seungyoon. Jaehyun had been oblivious to his efforts in the beginning, simply dismissing his actions as mere attempts to express his adoration. He’d soon realized (with the help of some friends) that it had more than adoration.
Who started the relationship?: It had been an unspoken mutual agreement that they were in one, though Jaehyun spoke up after a week to make sure he hadn’t been mistaken.
