Who cooks normally?: On the rare occasion that they do cook, they share the kitchen together, taking turns peeking over at the other’s job as they attend to their tasks. Both of them meticulous in their efforts, though they never think to follow recipe books. They like to invent their own dishes instead, which are mostly awful but sometimes edible and even tasteful. Most of the time, they just go out to eat and spend the night describing to each other the flavors that dance on their tongues, the colors that enrich the food, even if it is just as simple as spaghetti and meatballs. It’s not just a meal to them— it’s an essence of their memories together, too.
How often do they fight?: They don’t really fight, although once, Jaehyun had lashed out at Taehyun. It had been out of petty jealousy and he hadn’t been in his right mind, and Taehyun didn’t fight back, anyways. Jaehyun had apologized afterwards, though not with words. Taehyun had forgiven him.
What do they do when they’re away from each other?: They act like five-year-olds. Jaehyun will call Taehyun incessantly and tell him completely erratic facts or fragments of his day, occasionally sending letters every now and then. Taehyun will answer the calls calmly, and send a poem to the latter every now and then. They refuse to say the phrase “I miss you”, even if it is obvious that they do. They’re stubborn in that way.
Nicknames for each other?: Tae and Jae. It’s been their nicknames for each other since they were kids, because most people know them by their English names. They rhyme, too. #2AEHYUN AYEEEE
Who is more likely to pay for dinner?: Neither of them really care who pays, though it usually ends up being Jaehyun because he’s faster.
Who steals the covers at night?: Jaehyun, but Taehyun will often retaliate in some method or another.
Who remembers things?: It depends. Jaehyun will remember things like anniversaries. Taehyun will remember everyday tasks, like what needs to be bought from the grocery store.
Who cusses more?: Neither of them really cuss unless they’re drunk out of their mind.
What would they do if the other one was hurt?: They’d attempt to tend to the other quite clumsily, then give up and instead act as moral support, keeping them company until they felt better.
Who kissed who first?: Taehyun. It hadn’t been a big sort of event of sorts or anything— they’d simply been doing what they’d always been doing, and he’d done it out of the blue. Jaehyun didn’t kiss back the first time because he’d been too surprised, but he’d learned well enough to respond properly after that.
Who made the first move?: No one had really made the first move. It’d just sort of transitioned into something more than just being best friends.
Who started the relationship?: Jaehyun. The story will be saved for another time.
