In the last months since Eddie returned to an active duty, Ravi kept walking in on him and Buck in compromising positions, which in reality not what it looks like, but fuelled by rumours circling in 118 Ravi’s imagination filled in blanks and he’s scarred for life.
So when Ravi rounds the corner of a fire truck and sees from afar how suspiciously close Firefighter Diaz stands behind Firefighter Buckley, he is prepared to encounter another not safe for workplace scene.

Buck: We are? Jeez, Eddie, why didn't you tell me? I'd have put my clipboard down.
Eddie: Trust me, Buckley, you would have known if we were.

Turns out it's just Eddie got a lot clingy since the shooting and after recovery stuck to Buck like glue, and followed him everywhere. So what we’re witnessing here is Eddie keeping Buck company while he checks supplies, nothing more. Buck is so used to this that he didn’t pay any mind when Eddie hugged him from behind.
Which apparently was too much for new and poorly informed Ravi Panikkar. Somewhere in a firehouse Hen and Chimney were howling with laughter at Probie’s misery. Rude.
