You think the seokyung incident was spontaneous? It was clear throughout the whole rehearsal that seokyung couldn't hit the notes and didn't feel comfortable with her lines. When she finally voiced that concern, she was shut down by haein. To me it was pretty obvious seokyung didn't do "just fine" with her lines during rehearsal so what's random about her getting upset?

It seemed spontaneous to me, since after Haein gave her whole “we must do what is best for the team” speech, she seemed to calm down a little bit. Also, it didn’t look like anyone else thought she was doing a bad job (heck I thought she sounded perfectly fine, and even a bit more stable than some of the other trainees in other groups). I think part of it was just the way it was edited it almost seemed scripted or exaggerated (and then to follow her as she ran crying into the bathroom was kinda weird). It was probably just normal rehearsal drama, and she definitely overcame it because she (and the whole group really) shone on stage. Also they lowered the key of the song between rehearsal and the performance. If I remember correctly, the rehearsal was in F# and the performance was in F, so that subtle pitch adjustment might have helped her be more confident (also didn’t Suhyun do one of the choruses, maybe to help out a bit). Anywho, it just seemed like it was out of place, but I understand what you’re saying. This is also now the third ask I’ve gotten about this topic, and while I love the attention (my inbox is rarely this active unless it’s spam), I don’t wish to continue discussing a 2-minute section of a show that happened to strike me as unexpected. Sorry if any of this is confusing or offensive, as that was not my intention.
