The Circle of Being a Leaf

It really feels good to be a leaf on a branch of a tree with many other leaves. You just enjoy each other’s company and then when a storm comes, you hold on together on that branch and dance to the rhythm of the wind and the raindrops. When the storm calms and everything falls back into place, you also go back to the life as how it was before the storm. 

But then, here’s a plot twist. There came a time when one of the leaves decided to also experience life with the other leaves on the other branches of that tree, so for quite some time, it chose to distance a little. But it never knew how much it would miss about everything by doing so. It knows there is really something going on on that branch but she would never know what is. It seems that nobody has the intention of telling it. 

Leaves on a branch. That is what we are. The branch is the most important thing that binds us. It is TRUST. What if suddenly, that leaf feels like there really is something it does not know anymore among the leaves on that branch and then it feels like it wasn’t part of that branch in the first place after all?
