I’m somehow a bit conflicted by the Johnlock ship

While they care about each other way more than I am used to see regarding male friendship on TV, I think it should be possible to show that men, too, care deeply for their friends and that male friendship isn’t just some superficial, testosterone-ladden readiness to beat up people together. Men should be able to discuss and express feelings, and be able to display affection without actually being in love? On the other hand they act like an adorable old married couple and I’m convinced there’s something more than friendship
