Ito yung huling araw na mag kasama tayo, yung araw na simula ng totoong mag lolong distance relationship na tayo. Yung pinipigilan kong sabayan yung pag iyak mo, yung pinipilit kong itago ung lungkot at takot na mag kakalayo na tayo. Ito yung araw na huling beses kitang nakatabi, nayakap at nahalikan. Ito yung good bye na napakasakit eh kasi kung alam ko lang na ito na yung huling araw natin sana hindi na lang natapos.

Everytime naririnig ko yung, 'Huwag kang mangako nang Kailanpaman' ni Gary Granada, naaalala ko yung Huling Halik. Entry noong Cinemalaya 2011. Naalala ko lang kanina dahil nagplay sa phone ko. Ayos na yung line eh. Eh basta. Ngayon, gusto kumanta ng, 'Oh what a pain, what a painful ending given on a perfect day.' Ang sakit lang. Babae!

the last kiss

watched this earlier ALONE at greenbelt 3 cinema 5. not an entry, but part of the cinemalaya 7 featured film.

supposed to be gladys and i will watch the ligo na u, lapit na me, but unfortunately sold-out nanaman yung tickets, sobrang benta talaga ng entry-ng yun. so i decided to watch this film, kinda interesting, kasi both kenjie garcia (from ang lihim ni antonio) and joeffrey javier (from campus crush) are the lead roles, and also produced by lex bonife.

like what i said i watched it alone, kasi ayaw ako samahan ng mga kasama ko, kasi it is gay themed daw, so tumatatak sa isip nila, kinda porn, but doon sila nagkakamali na this film is not that obscene at all. from the first nga lang of the film, bed scene nga lang ang bungad - no frontal, skins kung skins lang, pero it is just to show us that there is this certain relationship from the first palang, not like other stories na magblobloom palang yung relationship.

the story goes around the relationship between JM (kenjie) and Ilis (Joeffrey), and and the setting was in Baguio and timely for the Panagbenga Festival. a one day-story w/c is also the last day of jm in baguio before he move back to manila. also the film tackles about bisexuality wherein Ilis has a girlfriend at the sametime, betrayal-cheated, beaing hurt and saying goodbye.

all of us can relate to this, not an ordinary gay themed film, pero pupukaw sa damdamin, lalo na kung ipapasok mo yung sarili mo, kasi like what i did, i imagined that i was JM, the one who did all the efforts to survive the relationship and all, but all of the sudden ma dedestroy nalang na ka-partner mo. the only thing here that JM wants is a day w/ Ilis, only a day w/ Ilis before he goes back to manila. pero just a text/call from his gf, ayun at iiwan lang niya si jm sa gilid, and the sad part there ay nakita ni jm si ilis kasama ang kanyang gf sa may malapit sa igorot park.

i think they are both students from up-baguio, like what the director's said earlier during the q&a portion. but the film told that JM is on its LOA (?)

thumbs up for the story, a running story!

running story, kasi walang script at all, only the outlines of the story, tapos may mga natural events kung saan hindi mapipigilan, like the panagbenga parade, puro nakaw shots, and more on dubbing during the conversation, kasi walang boom mic, and only dslr lang ang gamit for the shoot (based from the director)

i would like to comment lang, dahil feel ko pinilit lang na pinahaba yung film, dahil madami namang scenes na pwedeng i-cut, lalo na kung medyo silent at parang air gap lang, nakakahilo din kasi, kasi yung mga shots nga patakas.

at nasasapawan talaga ni kenjie si joeffrey, bravo kay kenjie, dahil ang galing talaga niyang umarte, the facial expressions, and the emotions and all. konting feelings pa for joeffrey, kinda monotone padin kasi.

...in every relationship there is what we call END, but in every END, there will always an another BEGINNINGS...
