Crash

Flying was not always as graceful as it was portrayed in paintings and cinema. At times the currents would work against the one attempting to breach the realm of the clouds and such had been the case this morning. A sudden downdraft combined with a burst of rain had sent him tumbling down towards the earth. The sound of wings and a body hitting the ground created an impressive thud and a sizable divot in the ground. 

Staring up at the sky, feeling that he had very likely bruised his ribs and damaged his shoulders, he wondered if he had fallen in the countryside or in some sort of park. At least he had not fallen on anything stone. Heaving a sigh, he gave an annoyed groan as he did feel a distinct sting from his chest. Perhaps he could just lay here for a while.

but consider after that, esp if genju starts with the really bright colours (genju coming at him with blue lipstick is a dead giveaway id say) he’s just

running along with the joke like ‘is there something on my face, jesse?’ and his forehead array flickers in a smirk and jesse is doubling over like ‘no darling, you’re just fine’ and hanzo in a corner is ‘why’

Shelter that provided a proper hiding place from ordinary people was proving difficult to find. He couldn’t risk flying either to search when he was so close to buildings. The last time he had attempted that he had ended up with a bullet through his wing. A violent shiver overtook him for a moment and he was fairly certain he could not feel his clawed toes any more. Grumbling to himself, he leaned against the nearest tree. A thin layer of frost had started forming on his wingtips and it didn’t look like he was going to find any reprieve from the cold anytime soon.
