-Meet OC and Friend- // Eventual Saja Boys x OC relationship
It was relatively quiet out. The people of Seoul are just starting their day as the sun beams down from its position in the sky. In one apartment in the city, where the sunlight peeks through a small gap in drawn curtains, a young adult female was fast asleep in her bed. Her blonde hair was splayed out on the pillow, and her blankets were bunched around her waist.
A soft beeping sound causes the young girl to stir. As the sound persists, she groans in annoyance and blindly reaches towards the noise in order to silence it. Once it's quiet in the bedroom again, the young girl was tempted to fall right back to sleep but she knew that she couldn't. With a tired sigh, she sluggishly drags herself out of bed and pads across her room to her closet. She picks out an outfit for the day, and grabs some clean undergarments before traversing to her adjoining bathroom.
Setting her clothes on the counter of the sink, she turns on the shower with a twist of a knob. As the water warms up, she strips out of her pajamas and underwear, then steps under the cool stream raining down from the showerhead. She stands there for a moment, letting the cool water wake her up before moving to wash her off.
When she finishes with her shower, she grabs her fluffy cream towel. She rubs it over her blonde hair, giving it a quick dry before wrapping the towel around her body. She steps out of the shower, her bare feet stepping onto the bathmat. Once her body is dry, the young blonde walks over to her bathroom sink, where she had left her clothes of the day.
Dropping her towel to the ground, she begins to dress herself. Once she's fully clothed, she grabs her hair dryer out from under her sink and plugs it in to blow dry her blonde hair while running her brush through her locks.
Ready to take on the day, she exits her bathroom, makes her way across her bedroom and leaves that room as well. She continues to make her way through her small apartment to her little kitchen where a steaming mug of green tea and a banana nut muffin awaited her.
She smiles softly at the sight and walks up to the drink and food left out for her. She eats the muffin and drinks her tea, setting the empty mug into her sink when she was done and throws away the muffin wrapper, stopping by the front door to put on her shoes before heading out of her apartment.
Walking down the stairs and then down a short stretch of hallway, she pushes through a set of light oak swinging doors and enters the kitchen of her bakery. With a flip of a switch, the overhead lights turn on, illuminating the space and the already prepped pastries.
"You're too good to me, E.J," she comments into the seemingly empty area.
A soft huff sounds from a shadowed corner, and a brunet floppy haired young adult male steps forward.
"I know you're not much of a morning person, and I don't mind working in the kitchen while you're sleeping." he tells her.
She stares at him for a moment before a shiver runs through her.
"It's weird how domestic you're getting. Let's go out tonight." She says.
The brunet tilts his head slightly, "Don't those friends of yours have their final performance tonight?" He asks.
"They do, yes. But as much as I adore them, I wasn't planning on attending their final performance in the first place. It's going to be way too crowded at the venue. I can catch their final show on a livestream. Besides, I know stock's getting low." she says.
"Okay. Then, we'll go out tonight." E.J states.
The blonde nods her head before cracking her knuckles.
"All right. Are you ready to start today?" she asks him.
He nods his head in agreement, "Yeah, let's do this."
She shakes out her hands and wiggles her fingers before grabbing her light green apron and tying it on. E.J starts grabbing plates of pastries to set out and once her apron is on, she follows his lead. With all the pastries out on display in the case and in the basket stand, and the rest of the supply staying either cool or warm in the kitchen, it was time to open the bakery.
__________
Business was steady, customers coming in to either buy their favorite Korean pastry or taste-test an American one, and buying that. The bell above the door rings when the door is pulled open, signaling that another potential customer has walked in.
"Hey Angel! Hey Jack!" a familiar voice greets.
"Hi Bobby!" Angel greets him in return.
Jack doesn't give him much of a response, he just slightly moves his head.
"You're looking cute, Angel!" Bobby compliments, to which she gives him a smile.
"So, the girls have their final performance tonight to end their world tour before they take their break. I know that they would love to see you there." He follows up with.
"Oh, I know. It's all any of my customers can talk about today." Angel began, amused.
"And, as much as I'd love to support the girls in person, I don't do well in large crowds. With the girls' popularity, I know the venue is going to be packed out."
"I understand. I'll be sure to let the girls know that you'd be there in person if you could, but you'll be supporting them in spirit." Bobby says.
"Sounds good," Angel acknowledges, now smiling warmly.
"Now, can I get you anything?"
"Ooo~ Yes, please!"
Bobby's eyes rake over the treats in the glass display case, taking in all the available options.
"Can I get two Yakgwas and two chocolate chip cookies, please." He decides.
"You got it."
Using a pair of tongs with rubber on the ends, she grabs two of each treats puts them into two separate baggies. Then, she rings up the items and tells Bobby his total.
Bobby pulls out his wallet, then his card and swipes it through the card machine. When the transaction approves, Angel hands over his bags.
"Thanks so much, Angel! I'll see you later! Bye, Jack!"
"Bye, Bobby! See you later!" the blonde waves.
Once again, Jack doesn't say anything. He just raises his hand. The Huntr/x manager heads out of the bakery, the pair watching him leave before looking at each other. She can read the question in his eyes.
"Yes, I'm sure that I don't want to go to the show tonight." she says.
"Okay," Jack acknowledges.
The bell rings again, signaling another potential customer entering.
-----------
Later that night, there's hardly anybody out on the streets. Most everyone in Seoul has gone to the final Huntr/x performance, but there were still a couple of people out and about.
Down an alleyway, covered by shadows of the night, muffled screaming and crying was just barely drowned out by the song "How It's Done" by Huntr/x playing.
["It's them!"
Better sit down for the show
Cause I'm gonna show you (I'm gonna show you)
I'm gonna show you
How it's done, done, done
"Whoa! Cool costume!"
I don't talk, but I bite-]
The music suddenly stops abruptly. The muffled screaming and crying had stopped, too.
