Some of these are brand new edits, some I've posted elsewhere in the past, and some are never before seen. I always loved the ideas involving masks. While some are from favorite movies or more for fun, I think there's a lot hidden in the moods and ideas that involve anyone wearing a mask of any kind. As a society with everything at it's fingertips, we are forever putting on masks. Hiding certain things until later on. It's most noticeable in watching social media behaviors. But, it even comes down to meeting someone new, moments with strangers or neighbors, going to an interview, and so on and so on. How we are with ourselves, how we appear on and use social media, how we are with our family and to our friends and to the rest of the world - even if we don't mean to or realize it at times - we always put on a mask that fits the situations we face.
"Of all individuals, the misunderstood, the shunned and the depressed are arguably the most themselves. They wear no masks whatsoever in order to be accepted and liked; they do seem most guarded, but only by their own hands. When everyone else is hiding who they are, they themselves are naked." -- ?
"Rebellion comes in many forms... and walking these city streets, I see everyone is wearing a mask... but the biggest act of rebellion is to take off the mask and never put it back on." -- @thecolor42
“Masks reveal. They don’t conceal. Masks reveal your cravings, your passion, your deepest most secret desires.” ― Chloe Thurlow
