If/when THG comes back, do you plan on continuing to make it a forum adventure? I find it kind of sad how the format itself has become a bit of a relic, because I think it's a very cool one...

I think I'll still keep it as a forum adventure if its still feasible! Or at the very least, take suggestions from twitter or the like - its sad to see it become less used now because I really enjoyed how audience interactibility could drive a story in ways an author wouldn't always consider, and I appreciated that for THG!

Two THG questions, if you please. a) when does the bridge of sighs rigamarole happen in relation to Cancel talking to Abigail? b) was Un-Joe's weird sideways jaw inspired by Omega Flowey's design? Thanks!

1) I would say it happens after Abigail’s talk! 

2) Actually, I don’t think so, since I was just like “wow, sideways mouth REAL CREEPY, gotta use” but I love Omega Flowey’s design a lot regardless!!

This may be just me galaxy braining here, but I was thinking the other day about THG and - is it weird that I kinda feel some sort of common energy between Camilla and Thalia? In some way, they feel to me like different people cut from the same cloth, like how both papier maché and sturdy cardboard are ultimately both paper... I sense some kinda kinship there, sorta like I do with Camilla and Kate but differently. I like them a lot!

Its not weird at all! A lot of the characters I specifically wanted to have connections with each other, whether being through them meeting or sharing common themes or pasts, and Camilla and Thalia are definitely a good example. Both are strong ladies who nevertheless put up a very intentionally-crafted exterior to hide their vulnerabilities, though it comes more naturally to the stoic Camilla than the more sociable Thalia. The main difference is that Thalia makes herself appear strong for her sake and her sake alone, while Camilla wants to appear strong for others without really thinking about herself. So yeah - it really is papier maché and sturdy cardboard as a metaphor for the both of them! Girls made of paper...

Since you've talked before about Animorphs being a big influence on your art growing up, was Kate's character partly inspired by Rachel?

Yeah, partially! Not directly inspired, but I enjoyed the character type of “Girl Ready To Fight” so Kate is definitely that.

i can say that maybe its coincidence and maybe its not but cancel and connor would definitely throw hands when they see each other at the PTA meeting
