I know this is quite trivial in the grand scheme of OHS Stuff, but I have been wondering for a while... What *is* Gimel, exactly? Is he like a live-in servant? Is he salaried? Is he a "simpler" sort of automaton than Sulla or Tsade? Thank you, love this comic lots!

I guess you could say Gimel is a personal project of Brendan’s and Sulla’s, who doesn’t really have the same specs as a robot you’d get for similar purposes commercially. He does some household tasks and is connected to the house’s systems (security and the like), and helps Brendan out as a bit of a gofer. While Gimel’s not at the same level of sophistication as Sulla or Tsade, he has a level of social or emotional intelligence that makes him unique, and probably due for a re-evalution of the role he plays in the Pinsky house.
