Central Heat/Air

So, our heater hasn't been able to keep up with the cold....or so we thought.

A part is messed up. A part they no longer make. A part that, by estimate, will cost 1k to get and all. A new one is about 5k. Neither can we afford, but what if we get the part? What if something else breaks that they no longer make? And costs 1k or more to get/have made? We're completely screwed.

And at earliest, it will be Tuesday. Some time between now and then, it's gonna be even colder. So I expect to get sick as well and I have no insurance, so the doctor is not an option. Suffering and dying is though.

And I need a shower, but wet+cold=bad.

so last night when Cody and I were walking to the car, I could literally not stop shivering, and Cody voluntarily came over to hug me and try to warm me up while we walked.

granted, he was also laughing at me, but still. he's such a sweet kid, most of the time. it makes my heart ache the good kind of way.
