alright, I've got a massive art dump for the bug au! (thank you to glowstick and my friends for enabling my nonsense)
first two are the designs for swindle and lockdown, who end up working together after swindle crash-lands on earth while running from quintessons.
and then a little bonus doodle of swindle with his elytron open showing off his wing(s) - we where discussing how most of the grounders are beetles, and since wings are so delicate, its pretty taboo to touch that area unless you are extremely close with the person or in private. with of course humans wouldn't know! so human curiosity towards things that are soft to touch probably lands a few individuals in time out lol.
then a proper redesign for the cassettes! that sort of functions as a mini-cybertronain grounder lifecycle. egg-grub-juvenile- young adult. this isn't identical across all subspecies, (seekers are pretty different) but it works pretty well! plus you can see how megatron/soundwaves colors distribute across them a little better.
