I m not politically minded - but am a humanist - and when I see children separated from their parents - and babies too ... put into camps ... a cold shiver of fear trickles down my spine. . Until we learn from history - humans will repeat the same mistakes of the past. . . The fear those children must feel - how can any human say this is acceptable? . . . Under pressure Trump is supposedly putting an end to this idea of his. Pressure should have never needed to be brought to bare ... it should never have taken place at all. .. Millions of Jews were separated from their children - the footage of a Jewish mother in World war 2 trying to pick up her little boy who kept running back to his mother at a camp while guards were separating them, haunts me. . . Maybe that’s an extreme example .... but is nt that how these things start, one race of people - not wanting another race of people around ... dehumanise them, making anything that is then done to them as acceptable. . . Human beings deserve to be treated like human beings. #humanbeingsbeinghuman #humanbeingsmatter
