yet more bug au! (can you tell I'm having fun)

here we've got some history lessons about how empurata works in this au, (sorry whirl) a little illustration of how cyclonus and tailgate met before they found the autobots, and a bonus of whirl bothering rung because I felt bad for drawing him miserable.

(cyclonus and whirl both got taken in by MECH after they crashed on earth, tailgate- a very underpaid janitor, broke the two of them out with very little hesitation. both bugs would kill and die for tailgate. but don't trust the rest of humanity at all.

Cyclonus gets hurt pretty bad during the escape from MECH, but whirl and tailgate make sure he winds up ok :)

more bug au!

ratchet has known about the cybertronains the longest, she does her best to round up all the people who find them into one place (the autobots) - she's a retired combat medic, and she's extremely overworked from trying to keep everyone safe and in once piece.

drift, the first cybertronian to land on earth and survive, was saved by her after they crashed their ship, they've been inseparable since.

we've also got a WIP of tailgate and cyclonus, the oil painting I did while I was figuring out ratchets design, and my concept/reference for starscream!

(usually I'm a big fan of his g1 colors but my buddy is obsessed with his TFP design, so I figured for this au- I'd use it for inspo as a little treat)
