No matter what, Jason always cares about the people that are forgotten. It’s why he protects Crime Alley because no one else will. He’ll buy out entire apartment buildings and renovate them to then offer extremely cheap to free housing.
He owns several warehouses converted to house the street kids, working girls, and abused partners.
He runs a criminal empire, yes, but he runs it as ethically as he can providing fair pay, decent protection, and benefits to his workers while also decreasing overall crime as much as possible.
The working girls that work for him adore him. He doesn’t demand a cut, but does everything in his power to keep them safe and avenge those who have been hurt or killed. They tease him relentlessly.
The less fortunate of Gotham adore Red Hood because not only does he go above and beyond, he’s also there getting dirty with them. Bruce Wayne might fund several charities, but he himself is never seen doing anything more than making speeches at gala events.
Red Hood is knocking on your door with an adorably awkward smile, a hot meal, and a shoulder to lean on.
