Starting up again//OPEN//
Lucario looked up blinking the drowsiness from his eyes. It had been a long ride on the express train. About two hours from his last stop- what was that small town? He was so groggy he couldn't remember but not like it mattered anyway. He was back home. What could be called at one point the Kingdom of Cameran, but royalty was moved aside and the castle is more a historical palace. He adjusted his hat over his ears after pulling out the black earbuds to hear the computerized voice of a lady announcing something on the lines of historical tours. “Heh... good to be home.” he smirked to no one in particular. As he waited patiently for a family to pass by he nodded to the child looking up at him with a curious stare. Lucario smiled and waved a hand, the spike glinted softly as his mother brushed him onwards. Wasn't new, he’d gotten used to it. Grabbing his backpack and adjusting the straps up top holding the sleeping gear in place made his way off the bus. Taking a deep breath of the fresh air he smiled, “Yep. this is home.”
It was close to the festival of Sir Aaron and in about two weeks time tourists from all over would come to the infamous city for one of the biggest and historical festivals of the Kingdom. Trainers would compete in the tournament to play the Role of Sir Aaron and start off the Festival officially. It was going to be fun. But this wasn't time to hit the nostalgia. It was time to see how the house looked. “The poor garden is probably a disaster but the interior at least should still be taken care of...” The royal family although not official still held sway, in small things and taking care of a small patch of land on the edge of town near the forest wasn't that hard. Besides no one really would want an old fashioned two story with nature taking over the outside anyway. He was more worried about the state of the kitchen, that had been his pride and joy. Taking extra care to invest in the best cookware and full pantry.
After hailing a Taxi and paying off the meter he looked up the walk towards his humble abode. It had overgrown a bit but nothing a little- or a lot of gardening couldn't handle. “Home sweet home.” as he made his way to the door he began to plan on if he would visit the festival grounds and see if anyone was open for some extra help, or just people watch. Well for now it was unpack and get settled in again. Then find out about the festival.
