Universal Human Rights Training 🌸 Being grown up under the forceful leadership of a dictatorship military regime, I didn’t know at all what are the Universal Human Rights. We were only taught to obey and follow the command of the leaders without raising any questions. I am so happy that this training has been an eye-opener to my naive mind. I am forever grateful to the Instructor and her team that made a tremendous impact on my knowledge in the areas of human rights. I truly recommend anyone who still wants to learn more about what Universal Human Rights are. I know you will love the training and the likeminded community that fight for the same cause. You can even be a Human Rights Consultant that stands and fights tirelessly for the socially marginalized communities. What are our perspectives and questions regarding the Universal Human Rights? . . . . #humanrights #universalhumanrights #humanrightsactivist #humanrightscampaign #humanrightsdefenders #lifematters #40corner40 (at Tulsa, Oklahoma) https://www.instagram.com/p/CO8dvGdDYFl/?igshid=2fpy5bkgdlw8
The dawn of a new era for America... and we welcome it with tired souls but open hearts! #Repost @humanrightscampaign ・・・ History in the making: Dr. Rachel Levine was nominated by Joe Biden to serve as Assistant Secretary for Health. Today marks the 31st anniversary of National Coming Out Day in the United States! According to the Human Rights Campaign: “Thirty-one years ago, on the anniversary of the National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, we first observed National Coming Out Day as a reminder that one of our most basic tools is the power of coming out. One out of every two Americans has someone close to them who is gay or lesbian. For transgender people, that number is only one in 10. Coming out - whether it is as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or queer - STILL MATTERS. When people know someone who is LGBTQ, they are far more likely to support equality under the law. Beyond that, our stories can be powerful to each other. In honor of National Coming Out Day, HRC celebrates all who have come out as LGBTQ – that takes bravery, and we commend you. Every person who speaks up changes more hearts and minds, and creates new advocates for equality.” Find more resources at http://www.hrc.org/explore/topic/coming-out

Want to contact your representatives but don’t know what to say? That’s okay! Here’s what the Human Rights Campaign suggests:
“As your constituent and as one of the Human Rights Campaign's more than 3 million members and supporters, I am writing to ensure your support for the Equality Act and the crucial protections it would provide members of the LGBTQ community nationwide.
Our country cannot continue to tolerate discrimination – in employment, housing, public places, education or anywhere – on the basis of sexual orientation or gender identity. Now more than ever, we need to pass the Equality Act and its consistent and explicit non-discrimination protections.
By explicitly including sexual orientation and gender identity in our nation’s civil rights laws, LGBTQ people will finally be afforded the exact same protections as other covered characteristics under federal law. Placing your name on the Equality Act would show you understand how important this is.
Please consider supporting the Equality Act today. For the LGBTQ community, and for the betterment of our country. Thank you for listening.”

We ❤️you, @annehathaway! This weekend, the Oscar-winning actress was awarded the National Ally for Equality award by the @humanrightscampaign, and in her powerful acceptance speech, she called out white privilege, straight privilege, and cisgender privilege.
