Jim had never paid attention to the counter on the wrist, never felt the need to. Attachment was a weakness. It was only something that would get in the way and he had plans. There had been many times that he had tried to carve the damn counter out of his wrist and it had mostly worked. Until the skin began to grow back along with the counter.
