Spy x Family Cold War inspiration:

If someone would’ve told me that Spy x Family was set during the Cold War, based on the clips I’d seen before I bingewatched it last weekend, I would’ve never believed them. But it’s such a huge part of the story, and so well done!

Well, excuse me, it’s not set during the Cold War—it’s simply:

information warfare

waged between East and West

in Berlint

using period-appropriate espionage,

and referred to as “a/this cold war.”

It would be cool to meet more people who are super interested in the spycraft element of the show, especially on Twitter where things are more conversational, but I also love the slice of life stuff!
