Love the post about Beauty & the Beast, though quick point of order -- Howard Ashman actually didn't help with the score - he wrote the lyrics. Alan Menken wrote the score.

Nearly certain of it. There’s no other reason GRRM would even know of the place, he doesn’t do much internet besides LJ. But Linda has an account here (and on twitter, which he said was a cesspool too, lol) and no doubt tells him very filtered stories. Well-poisoning indeed.
It’s a goddamn fucking pity, istg. Thousands of fans here who genuinely love GRRM’s work, who love the show, who only became fans because of tumblr, but it’s all a cesspool with easily dismissed opinions. I’m sure the meta-bloggers who post here and BNFs who link here are so happy to be included! :D
