Photographer Travels 900 Miles To Capture Unusual Orange Snowy Owl

Trip to Northern Michigan

Today was an easy drive, I had the road to myself much of the time. This shot was taken west of Ossineke Michigan and was about as far north as my journey took me. As you can see,not much color change yet in the trees.

I spent some quality time with my brother. That is him above, @woedig We are walking around on some nature paths that he created on his property.

Here is another look down a different path. It was a beautiful day today.

This is highway US23 traveling south after visiting my brother, on the way to visit a man it Tawas Michigan that I used to work with 20+ years ago. We still keep in touch.

This is how it looks to gaze out over Lake Huron. Nothing but miles and miles and miles of fresh water. This was shot at Tawas Michigan. This was a lot of driving but my back still feels okay.

It makes my soul feel good to keep in touch with kinfolk and old friends. 😍 It was an awesome day.
