Humpback summit Five years since my first visit and first time for the pups. Asahel Curtis Road was drivable till the stop sign by the T intersection with Tinkham Road. 06/06/14 - near Humpback Mountain, VA - A GREAT DAY TO PLAY HOOKY - Hiked 12.4 miles to Rockfish Gap near the entrance to the famous Shenandoah National Park. Was planning to meet Good Vibration there, have a snack and then push on into the park. But it was such a nice day and the pull of Good Vibration and the Airstream Hilton was just too much for me to resist so I decided to play hooky for the rest of the day. Oh well, maybe we’ll do 20 miles tomorrow.
