In the midst of writing it, I’ve discovered that Ascending Triumvirate, while having plenty of Huma moments planned, is very Evie-centric. That’s no surprise since my fics usually tend to focus on my favorite character. However, because of that, I have a different Humvie fic planned, also taking place from Descendants 2 on, that is more Uma-focused. It puts Uma as the center of the relationship this time because I think there’s a lot to Uma I still haven’t even brushed the surface of, even in the future of Ascending Triumvirate.
I’m not sure when this other Humvie fic will be ready for posting because I want to get the planning for it a little further along. Especially since Worthy of His Ring, Integrating into Auradon, and By the Moon’s Light don’t have a plan and I’m flying by the seat of my pants with them. I have a lot of different Descendants ideas, but I think it would be better, at least as far as most of the unpublished ones are concerned, to have more thought out plans for them. Even if it takes a bit for the chapters to get finished, at least I’ll know where I’m going with them.
