Personality: Good moral compass, unlike most Hundjäger encountered in the series. Due to his Hundjäger nature, he can be vicious and ruthless sometimes when it comes to his enemies or targets while working with the wesen Council. He will use the fact that he is a Hundjäger to intimidate other wesen, more so if it helps him in his investigations. He can be quick to anger in some instances because of this, and has quite a temper. More often, he is kind-natured, brave, confident, a smart ass, and loyal to a fault. He believes in protecting the innocent. He doesn't trust easily(in the case before meeting Nick, he talked to several Wesen from Nick's cases to get a good feel about him, considering he was a Grimm). He hates when people or other wesen assume just because he is a Hundjäger that he is Verrat or Black Claw(not that he hasn't used this to his advantage in some of his cases, but he hates doing it). He uses his extra abilities as a Hundjäger to solve his cases(he mostly deals with missing persons or tracking perps, which got him the nickname The Hound). His goal is to make up for all the things he did while as an agent of the Wesen Council and to show people that not all Hundjäger are bad. He can sometimes lose himself to his Hundjäger nature and no-nonsense wesen council training when it comes to trying to hold back on his viciousness and ruthlessness. More often than not, he is a good person and just wants to help people and friends the best he can.

Appearance as Human: Dark skinned with buzz-cut black hair, a medium-sized mohawk, and a Verdi beard and mustache. brown eyes and a scar that splits his right eyebrows. Has thick bushy eyebrows. bright white teeth and a wide thick nose. Usually wears a black trench coat and a white or brown dress shirt and black cargo pants, and black steel-toed boots.

Appearance as Hundjäger: Thick brown fur, beard, mustache, mohawk takes on a more furred look,and head(starting from his human hairline) areas have black markings/fur. black markings around his eyes. Furred Pointed ears with black tips, short dog snout with a black wide and wet nose. razor-sharp teeth with thick upper and lower canines. thick black claws. Dog-like Brown eyes(similar to the concept arts), black dog-like lower lip.

Powers and abilities: Has firearms and hand-to-hand combat training. full control over his woge to the point he can woge certain parts of his body(mostly used for his nose and ears to track his targets better). Though like most Wesen, his woge tends to slip during high emotional states(example being mistaking/accusing him of being Verrat or Black Claw will cause him to set off his Woge in anger as he has a deep hate for both parties). Has the enhanced speed, strength, hearing, and smell that a typical Hundjäger has. His training as a Wesen council agent has further enhanced his Hundjäger hearing and smell(almost on par with a Bultbad). He can smell or hear if someone is lying and is very good at reading people. Can move silently if he chooses to do so.

Benandanti Hundjäger

While not so different from the rest of their race, these Hundjäger are protectors of humans and wesen. The "Hound of God" legend comes from their acts of rescuing, finding, and protecting those in need. These Hundjäger all have the belief they are descendants of Thies of Kaltenbrunn, who is rumored to be the first Benandanti Hundjäger. They all seem to have the same fur pattern of thick brown fur, black markings around the eyes, black fur around their bottom jaw, black fur starting from their hairline and going back, black tipped ears. They have a slightly more pronounced snout and thicker canines. Like other Hundjäger, they are excellent trackers and can single out scents more effectively. They are still just as fast, clever, cold, and calculating, but seem more trustworthy than typical Hundjäger. It is rumored that they are predominantly part of the Wesen Council as part of protecting Wesen Law or part of the Laufer(The Resistance), who greatly oppose the Verrat and their use of other Hundjäger. They are a secretive lot.
