pitt is really baby's first fandom for many bc wdym criticising the show or the writers is the worst offense known to man. i know fandoms where hating the writers is a baseline requirement for liking the show

I feel like The Pitt and Fallout (the show, specifically. The game fandom is a different beast entirely.) have very similar fandoms, and I think this really is one of the biggest reasons why.

So many fans feel the need to defend their Things so aggressively, and like. At the end of the day it’s not that serious.

We can like something, but also criticize it at the same time. Yknow?

I love going online and seeing interactions like “man, I really wish they had slowed down and focused more on (x) plotline. It felt like they really just brushed past that.” “If you hate the show so much why don’t you quit watching? No one’s forcing you to be here. Move on. Find something else to do.
