Elena couldn't make sense of a lot lately. There were the strange looks from everyone, as if they were waiting for her to implode. And while, of course she was sad about Bonnie, missed her desperately even. But she had to keep living, it's what she always did. What they all had always done. Though it helped that there was no doubt in her mind that they would find Bonnie and Damon. Stefan would have his brother back, and she and Caroline would have their best friend back.  But there was more than just that. It was Stefan. She remembered their breakup, but she couldn't, for the life of her, remember why. And it left her confused about just what she was feeling every time she saw him. Some part of her body just ached to be closer to him, like it couldn't remember why they ever stopped being so close. She never said a word about it though, not with all that he was going through. The last thing she needed to do was try and tell him about all this when, in all truth, she wasn't even sure exactly what she wanted from him. Still, it didn't stop her from trying to spend more time with him than necessary. Right after class almost every day she was at the Salvatore house, and today way no different. She didn't even bother knocking, just let herself in and made her way through the house to find her brood vampire. Seeing him, she lets a small smile grace her lips as she leans against the door. "Hey you."
