Bárcsak a helyembe léphetnél, Bárcsak a helyedbe léphetnék, Azt kívánom bárcsak éreznéd egy napig azt amit én. Néha mindent eldobnék magamtól, Csak hangosan ordítanék de az egyetlen aki hallaná az is én lennék....

From what I've heard, the Hungarian LANGUAGE is Finno-Ugric, and so were the Hungarian people originally, but there's been so much interbreeding that these days they don't have much in common genetically. That doesn't change the culture or language though, those aren't genetic!
the language is not genetic. Hungarian is really mixed breed, we moved to many places or we were invaded by others, or just the surrounding people mixed with us.
I want to believe that our language is related in some way. I see that grammatically they have similarities, even the words are so different. but really some basic words are similar.
I read one really interesting article about the origin or hungarians.
This article said that Hungarian is actually Sumerian. Sumerians from Mesopotamia they moved, and from the Danube till China, they were everywhere, including the steppes which we call as hungarian homeland. probably those people in the steppes were the only tribe who lived and stayed strong, I am not sure. BUT THESE people met the Finno ugric people around the Ural and probably they had strong effect on Each other’s language. Who had more effect on others is unknown?? I didn’t find anything about that in the article
What I miss from this Article and now makes me curious: WHERE DID THE FINNO-UGRIC PEOPLE CAME FROM??? Those lands where the Finno-ugric people met the Hungarians, were empty before BC4000, Hungarians came to that land around BC3000. We don’t know anything about Finno-ugric people or their language from that time!
My idea could be, what if they had no language, they were so primitive, and took the language from Hungarian on basics, the grammar a bit and few words, then started creating a new language, or started as a dialect since they were pushed out from the steppes to the swamps when the Hungarian came.
some people say, Hungarian people were really primitive and took other words from other languages without same meaning, but I don’t believe that, Hungarian people are genetically smart (we had tons of good inventions!) and in the old times, we used some script writings, but not as many (like we counted the animals and write down and such things) and these were written on like wood, that’s why we can’t find many while as I read, finnish or other finno-ugric people had nothing.
We might not be genetic relation, we are friends or “adoptive siblings“
