Hunger can drive some creatures to doing things they normally wouldn't. Hunt things they rarely ever hunt.

A slime's hunger is unlike anything else.

You have your vampires who need human blood for survival, your lycanthropes who will get cravings even outside of shifts, and I know a few dragons that threaten to eat their own thrall if even slightly in need of food.

But a slime must feed.

Slimes are nature's recyclers, often harmless to those that aren't fooled by simple camouflage. They will often pick up debris off of the forest floor and gain energy that way.

However, slimes that go for a long time without something substantial to digest will gain a growing hunger across the entirety of their body. An itch that grows and spreads as the creature fails to hold onto sanity.

If your partner is a slime, consider making them a big meal every so often. Otherwise you might fail to see the signs of a goop that wants nothing more than to dissolve you and satisfy themselves.
