I may or may not be writing something just to have these interact...

For context Varian (thanks to some custom Saporian Magic Mayhem) is in the Boiling Isles. He’s working on a way back, but at the moment he has to work with the emperor’s coven for supplies where he meets the Golden Guard. 

Varian may or may not have set up a few booby traps for the entrances into his lab, hence, Luz, Gus, and King’s soon to be predicament.

From Tangled the Series POV, this takes place after the Saproian take over but before Rapunzel’s Return. 

From The Owl House POV, this takes place after Finding Palisman.
