Hunter has felt depressed for a while, and it has become engrained into her routines. Her place always a mess, never leaving the bed or having energy. She puts on a smile and a brave face but she feels hollow inside. Often.

Lost, unsure, ambitious but with no real direction. Every day she wonders what to do with her life. She has very few people to talk to about her experiences. Her therapist, her boyfriend, and her friend Marian.

When she first told Marian, she wasn't believed and they had to work through it with time and learning. Still, Hunter strived to keep things to herself just in case. She never wanted to look crazy. Or for the people she cared about to think she was crazy. She realized that when she drank alcohol or smoked weed she seemed to think more clearly, not less.

But something has felt different lately. As though this bubble was going to pop.

Her boyfriend was definitely supportive but, due to trauma that he personally struggled with, it was harder to connect with him on a deeper level.

She texts Marian.

Hunter: Hey, I'm having a kind of weird day and I was wondering if we could hang out? I really need someone to talk to, if you don't mind.

Now as for Shane Shifter (in his ref sheet) my good bestie Q and I agree that is an alternative version of Shane where in an RP while being close to Loop he gained anomalous powers allowing him to turn into other people. Then there's just normal Shane, he's an absolute sweetheart and a flirt.

Time for Chardonnay to age up! No-one celebrated because they were too busy squabbling outside.

[This will be the last post from my Amberville save for now. Unfortunately I had put some high poly hairs (both 30k plus) in my packages folder to use in screenshots and forgot to take them out, stupidly! Even though they were not used in this save, it still caused crashing to desktop due to exceeded memory issues and damaged my Amberville save file (and I had to delete the save the hairs were in because it was crashing within minutes of opening it). This was really sad because I have put so much work into Amberville over the years. So, before the save got completely corrupted I made the decision to move all Amberville residents to Woeford, something I have had on my ‘to do list’ for a long time. I will dearly miss Amberville but I’m looking forwards to the change. It will take a little while for me to get things up and running. 

So my friendly advice is, don’t put high poly stuff in your game if you enjoy playing your saves, folks! If the creator/ converter/ re-texturer doesn’t state polycount please please do check yourself before using it, especially hairs (even if they look Maxis Match-y) and decor items (https://mspoodle1.tumblr.com/post/138971769880/checking-polycount-for-sims-3-package-files-in) To check CAS items select and then right-click on the GEOM files in S3PE and choose ‘GEOM preview’]

Hunter sits outside and is holding Taz. She feels down today. Depressed. She didn't have the easiest past and sometimes things just weighed heavy. She has a lot of trauma and doesn't know what to do with it but keep it in.

The stuff with Damien was freaky, she never really saw Gabe and Florence as demons. They were maybe too casual about blood drinking, and magic was just status quo.

But all the dying and suffering and the way Jameson screamed just surfaced something usually buried deep.

It was all too easy to remember screaming as a caged child. Pain. Abuse. Thinking she would die. She pets the cat and swallows. She didn't want to bother anyone with her sadness. Her pain. She sniffles and wipes her tears away.

But she also wishes she knew how to feel better, how to fix it, or what to do with it.

People started to crowd the park and Bridie wouldn’t let Penny have a go on the swings, so she left just as the sky began to darken.

Fortunately Chardonnay was unharmed and no-one died in the meteor strike.

"MARI!" Hunter screams. Ordinarily Salvi would be bolting to see what was wrong, but he knew exactly why she was screaming.

Jessica gets up and goes over, smiling wide. The happiest she has been since...

Hunter yells for Salvi next. Salvi comes out, tired. Hair a mess. He rubs his face.

The baby bird is pecking through the shell. Florence comes to watch as well. Hunter looks fascinated and also protective. The little beak is poking out and she can barely contain excitement. And Salvi looks over to realize that Hunter is crying.

She hasn't seen anything like this before, it's a big deal to her. She is just overwhelmed with emotions and excitement.

Salvi puts his arm around her. She leans against him, she is smiling as she watches.

It Leisure Day and Astoria gets invited to Kelly’s actual, real Pool Party. Not at all like the fake Pool Party Judy Bunch had yesterday.
