           He flinches back at the words, feeling tears in his eyes as he takes a step back. He wanted to keep up the lie, to keep her convinced that she was normal, because for a while, it felt like he actually was. But standing there with her, watching her yell, it was all a reminder that he was anything but normal. He blinks away the tears, and manages to get out a couple of words.

          “I-I’m sorry.”

                         “ no. you don’t get to say shit right now ! ” she was furious, pacing around the room. she knew better than to take her anger out on austin, but she couldn’t help herself. 

“ what the fuck, austin ? how could you keep something like that from me ?! who the fuck do you think you are? ” hunter had her own share of secrets, but they weren’t talking about that now. all she wanted was the truth and to scream a little.
