A wooden box, bound in leather--The Care and Feeding of Books (1950)
This book repair kit was owned by writer and book collector, Hunter Stagg. Over 1,000 volumes of Stagg’s personal library are held in Special Collections and Archives, along with his papers, manuscripts and correspondence with writers as diverse as Ellen Glasgow, Langston Hughes, and Gertrude Stein.
