Pairing: Bad Batch poly, Crosstech focused in Mosaic, with a Huntech addition because my lovely co writer for most of the series @sergeantgoggles must captain her ship 🚢
Summary-
WiTBF: Echo wasn't stupid. People forget that when they're confronted with 501st ARC trooper crazy. But to be able to survive that crazy you have to be able to plan it and adapt on the fly. Which is why after a month Echo had figured out who was sleeping with who in the Batch. They were all sleeping with each other.
Mosaic: They've been on the run for months with out Crosshair when Tech gets a message. Crosshair wants Technician and he's willing the bargain.
Say it's Alright: It's been a while since Hunter and Tech have had a night to themselves. Hunter steps up to change that and to make sure they're still on the same page after the upheavals and readjusting of Crosshair leaving and returning to them.
Stickers: Crosshair and Tech's dynamic as Technician and Nexu continues, even with the added challenges of a child on board
Don’t mind me, I’m just getting emotional thinking about sweet, stolen moments between Hunter and Tech. They have moments were they can put aside their difference in rank and the horrors of war and just experience each other as lovers and equals, even though that kind of a relationship goes against everything that they were raised to be. Sometimes they sit side by side on the gangplank of the Marauder at night and just look up at the stars together. Sometimes, they steal little secret glances and brushes of hands while they work together on missions. They steal kisses when they think no one can see them and hold hands when walking through markets and towns on leave.
Give me Hunter and Tech being unabashedly and deeply in love, even though they were made just to be short-lived killing machines. Let them be happy.
The Request: Are your requests still open? Ansban I was curious for some Hunter Mpreg perhaps? I am a sucker for preggo Hunter with baby Omega. Maybe the batch being supportive bfs?
A/N: This was requested by @inkyrebel, this did end up more Crosshair x Hunter centered but I really hope you like it!! I loved this request and it was so fun!
Hunter groans softly as he tries to get comfortable, but he’s finding it very difficult with his large belly and the little girl kicking at his insides. He’s eight months pregnant, and he’s just ready to get her out and into his and his boyfriend's arms.
Hunter had never meant to get pregnant, it was never in his cards because of the war. But then one thing led to another, and he somehow wound up pregnant.
It was a surprise, to be sure. All his boyfriends had freaked out. Tech started doing math and figuring out the logistics of having a baby, Wrecker was freaking out about how tiny they’d be and poor Crosshair had gone and drank himself into a blackout. Poor Echo was trying to figure out how he’d do anything with one arm.
But that changed once Hunter had calmed them down, and they all sat down to talk (once Crosshair sobered up.) it went well, and everyone calmed down and accepted the fact they would be fathers. (The freak out when they found out it was a girl was another story.)
Hunter groans as little Omega kicks again. “Little one, please stop kicking Daddy’s insides.” He whines, but just gets another kick for his troubles. He sighs and turns over, trying to get comfortable in his little nest of blankets.
Hunter hears footsteps, four sets of them to be exact. He can tell who each of them are, making him smile as he waits for the loves of his life.
The door opens, and they walk in. Hunter feels the bed dip as Crosshair cuddles close to him. “Someone need some cuddles?” He asks, and Hunter nods, cuddling into Crosshair. “Hmm, they would be very nice.”
Crosshair chuckles, kissing Hunter’s head. “Come on in, fellas.”
Tech, Wrecker and Echo all clamber into the bed, and cuddling up to Hunter. Echo is at his back, Tech gently sits at his feet and starts rubbing his ankles, making Hunter groan in bliss, but he frowns. “Tech, you don’t have to-“ “Hush, I want to.”
Wrecker lays close to Echo, reaching over and gently rubbing Hunter’s side as Echo goes after his back, making Hunter groan once again in bliss, eyes closing and he sighs. “Thank you.” He whispers, feeling much better already.
“You deserve it!” Wrecker smiles, massaging Hunter’s side as best he can.
“Yes, you are carrying our baby, after all.” Tech adjusts his goggles before getting back to the foot rub, leaning forward and kissing Hunter’s knee.
Crosshair smiles, gently massaging Hunter’s bump. “Always, handsome. We’ll always help you.” He kisses Hunter’s head gently, a soft smile adorning his normally grumpy features. Hunter just smiles tiredly at his boyfriends, at least, the ones he can see. His eyes flutter, being rubbed all over, including his belly, is making him sleepy.
Now that the baby is settled down, he decides to do just that, go to sleep. He needs it, and who knows when the next time he'll be able to sleep will be. So he lets his eyes drift closed, and his mind wanders as he slowly falls into the warm embrace of sleep.

Hunter wakes up to a full bladder and a baby girl laying right on top of it, making him groan and get up. He has to manoeuvre around limbs, before heading to the washroom and doing his business. Once he’s out, he looks around, frowning. Crosshair isn't here?
Hunter doesn't like this, and neither does Omega, it seems, as she is kicking at his belly. “Yes, I know. Your Cross’Buir should be here. How about we go find him, yeah?” He asks his large belly, getting a kick in reply. “Knew you would agree, Ad’ika.”
With that, Hunter waddles out of their bedroom, and through the chilly halls of the small apartment, shivering a bit with his thin maternity shirt on. He looks around, hoping to see his boyfriend but its just an empty apartment.
“Cross?” Hunter says quietly, before he sees it. The back door is open. He immediately knows where his one boyfriend has gone now, waddling out into the frigid outdoors, looking around as he walks a few feet onto their steps. “Crosshair?” he calls again.
It takes a few minutes of Hunter standing there, shivering when he hears- “What the kriff are you doing!!” It’s Crosshair, running up the stairs and pulling Hunter inside.
“I was waiting for you.” Hunter huffs, humming at the warmth as Crosshair sits him on the couch and wraps him up in his jacket and a blanket. So overprotective.
“You could have caught your death.” Crosshair huffs, kissing Hunter’s head. Hunter chuckles, rubbing his belly gently. “I’m fine, Crosshair. Now back to bed, please? Together?” He asks softly, wanting his boyfriend back in bed with the rest of them.
Crosshair nods, gently pulling Hunter into a kiss. “Of course.” He gently picks Hunter up into his arms and carries him back to their bedroom, moving Tech and Echo over a bit so that they can both fit in. Hunter just hums, snuggling into Crosshair’s arms.
Crosshair tucks another blanket around them, kissing Hunter’s head softly. “Comfortable?” He asks.
Hunter nods, snuggling closer. “Yes, very much so.” Crosshair frowns, and silence reigns for a few minutes before he sighs softly. “Do you think I'll be a good father?” He asks quietly, rubbing Hunter’s belly.
Hunter opens his eyes, startled a bit. He cups Crosshair’s cheek. “Of course, where is this coming from?” He asks softly, and Crosshair lets out a little sigh.
“I’m so grumpy, and I'm Scary looking, and-”
“No.” Hunter says softly. “I’m stopping you right there. You are a little grumpy, but you are also kind, loving, protective and amazing with kids. You are going to be just as good of a father as the rest of us.” He reassures.
Crosshair tears up. “You really think so?” He asks softly, trying to hold the tears back but they fall anyway. And Hunter just smiles, wiping his tears. “I know so.” He promises, kissing Crosshair so softly.
Crosshair hums, pulling Hunter as close as he can. “I love you, now get some rest.” He says softly.
Hunter nods, gently running a hand over his belly before closing his eyes, and drifting off to sleep, feeling safe and sound with all four of his boyfriends surrounding him. Crosshair falls asleep shortly after.
Summary: Boyband AU. Years of performing together has finally lead Tech and Hunter to record a song together.

Lips pressed close to the microphone, Tech sang. His lashes fluttered against his cheekbones as he let the slow bass and snare carry the beat in common time. The lyrics he and Hunter wrote together rang through the speakers in the mixing studio on the other side of the glass where Hunter listened, hands clasped in his lap.
No matter how many times he had heard Tech sing it always gave him goosebumps. For years they had shared a stage, had spent hours upon hours in recording studios and hotel showers alike listening to Tech give his all with his voice, and Hunter was as breathless now as the day he had first heard him sing. Singing wasn’t Tech’s first love. That would always be dancing. Tech was at his best when he could move to the music the way his body dictated it should and expressing himself through flawless and fluid motion. Even though Tech preferred to dance it didn’t take away the fact that Tech could sing, and sing well enough to be a part of a five piece boy band that had three studio albums, two North American tours, a European tour, and a world tour under their belts.
Now that things were beginning to settle down and they were growing up, the members of The Bad Batch had decided to pursue other interests and branch out. For Hunter, that meant a solo mini album that featured the love of his life. Of course, Tech was more than happy to be a part of the project even though he spent much of his time vlogging and hanging out with friends while they did “normal people” things.
Here in this moment, however, despite studio techs and producers being in the booth with them, this was just for Hunter. This was for the two of them.
Hunter shivered when Tech’s eyes locked with his, and Hunter swore his heart skipped several beats. It might be silly, but he really thought that Tech could be a fallen angel, a sarcastic, snarky, sexy angel with a heart of gold and riddled with anxiety. Four years together has seen them through some of the roughest waters either of them have ever traversed, especially as world famous musicians, but Hunter wouldn’t change any of it if that meant that at the end of every day he still got to hold Tech in his arms and get lost in his kisses.
When they listened to the playback of the recording with their voices melding together for a romantic, emotional duet, Hunter felt Tech shiver against him.
“What’s wrong?” Hunter asked as he laced their fingers together.
Tech took a moment to reply, seemingly thinking about how to word his thoughts. He did this often, and Hunter was patient while Tech gathered his emotions to appropriately explain.
“I didn’t think that our voices together would sound like that is all,” he said finally. “We’ve been performing together for years, but I think this might be the first time I’ve heard our voices sound so…emotional.”
A smile broke out over Tech’s lips as he leaned over to kiss Hunter. “But I guess when you’re recording something that means something special to you it’s going to sound different.”
Hunter melted with a soft, happy hum, and matched Tech’s mirth filled smile. “I guess so.”
Back at it again with the spite posting. Can't believe it's been almost a week since I was "canceled." Wild fucking times we live in, my dudes.
Anyway, enjoy this adorable thing.

Most days, Hunter likes to think that he has a bit of luck on his side. For one, he hadn’t been immediately discarded when it was discovered that he was a defected clone. That, in his humble opinion, is lucky in itself. To have been “born” with a desirable mutation, no matter how inconvenient it is most times, is also pretty lucky. It means that there is a much slimmer chance that he’ll be recalled for reconditioning or decommissioning unless he really messes up, and those instances are few. He has friends, brothers even, that he can depend on with his life scattered across the galaxy. He might not know all of them, but he knows that deep down, if faced with a choice to turn tail or save his brothers, he will save them every time, even if some of them don’t deserve it. He’s no God, and who lives and who dies, though he may try, is not a decision that he gets to make.
As such luck would have it, he has none of it today. The Chaos Marauder took a pretty big hit that, in Tech’s defense, was unavoidable, but that doesn’t mean that it took any less damage. Crashing it on the nearest planet is also not ideal, though he supposes that of all the ones in the system, this one is the least hostile, despite the strange electric currents that continually run through the air. Hunter is definitely not a fan of those. It makes his senses go haywire.
On top of that, the part that they need to fix it is way too many clicks away in the nearest point of civilization. According to Tech’s intel, the locals were friendly enough, but this is the Outer Rim. No one is quite as friendly as they seem. Thankfully, Echo has a way with words, and if things go wrong with the natives and their negotiations, Wrecker is there to be scary, and Crosshair...well, he’s just scary.
Which leaves Hunter to fix what they can with Tech, and that’s fine. Tech is usually the one to do upkeep and maintenance on the ship, and he’s meticulous about it, so Hunter knows that the Chaos Marauder is in the best hands. Yet, for as detail oriented as he is, there’s a lot to work on, and Hunter really could use an extra pair of hands right about now. This engine block isn’t going to fix itself, and the spare parts are on the ship in the galley. As it is, he’s pretty tied up and covered in grease that he’d rather not drag onto the ship.
Sighing, Hunter wipes a bead of sweat from his brow. He’s only now realized how drenched he is from sweat. His shirt is pretty damp, and his bandana is soaked to the point that it absolutely cannot hold any more fluid. Reaching up, he undoes the knot and uses it to clean his hands before tapping his communicator.
“Hey, Tech? I could use some help out here,” he says conversationally, knowing that Tech is likely running diagnostics on every little thing to ensure that the ship is in tip-top shape while they’re grounded.
After a few beats with no response, Hunter tries again.
“Tech, do you copy?” Still nothing. “Tech?”
After the third failed attempt to get Tech over the comm, Hunter growls and slides himself out from under the ship. He grimaces as the afternoon sun beats down on him, and scoffs when blocking the sun with his hand does nothing to ease how bright it’s shining in the lavender sky.
It doesn’t take him long to find the man in question. No sooner does he enter the ship does he see Tech in the cockpit, but when he opens his mouth to call out to him, he sees why there was no response, and he takes a moment to lean against the frame of the door and watch.
Tech is dressed in his blacks, but his helmet is securely over his head. It’s only because of Hunter’s heightened senses that he’s able to hear the music that’s playing in the headset, and he barely keeps from laughing out loud at Tech’s choice of upbeat techno. His foot is tapping to the beat, and his hips wiggle in the most adorable way as he dances around, looking at the analytics on his datapad.
After waiting an ample amount of time for Tech to see him, Hunter chuckles and paces over to him. Tech’s back is turned to him, and part of Hunter feels bad for what he’s about to do. The other part, however, feels no remorse when he knocks on Tech’s bucket and startles the life out of him.
“Hunter!”
As Tech scrambles to turn off the music and take off his helmet, Hunter chuckles and grins at him. Now that they’re eye to eye, he can’t miss the bright red tint of embarrassment that’s rising into his cheeks, or the big eyes that are mildly upset that he’s been caught.
“I’ve been trying to call you, but you seemed a little preoccupied,” Hunter tells him straightforwardly.
“S-Sorry,” Tech apologizes sheepishly and drums his hands on his helmet nervously. “I didn’t hear you over the music.”
Hunter shakes his head, grateful to have this moment with him, and he leans down to place a soft, chaste kiss to his temple. He can’t tell if doing so only winds Tech up more, or if it actually does help to calm him down a little. Either way, the blush on his cheeks is cute, and Hunter fights the urge to pinch them.
“How is she?” he asks in reference to his ship.
“Hm, the hit took out a small portion of our electrical and put a bit of damage on our shields, but we should have spare parts around to fix those,” Tech explains, immediately falling back into his usual self. “As for that radiator…”
“I know,” Hunter grumbles. “Been under her trying to clean it up when I noticed the engine block was damaged.”
Tech winces, but Hunter waves it off.
“It’ll be fine. I just need the parts box from the storage under the galley, and well, that’s where you were supposed to come in.” Hunter’s grin widens as Tech continues to get flustered.
“I said I was sorry,” Tech argues lamely.
“And I kissed you,” Hunter tosses back and winks before he steps away.
“What does that mean?” The question follows him, as does Tech, who is now vastly more interested in the notion of a temple kiss than his poppy techno.
“It means…” Hunter pauses and grabs the aforementioned parts box from the storage container, “that I think you’re cute and all is forgiven.”
There is definitely a blush on his cheeks now, and Hunter moves around him to head back down the ramp. “I could still use your help if you have a minute between dance routines.”
He doesn’t miss the way Tech bristles and walks after him again.
“Are you ever going to let me live this down?” He whines with an indignant pout that just makes him look even more precious, and Hunter wonders for a brief moment how he got so damn lucky with Tech.
Smoke billows out from the crash and Hunter scans the clones around him, doing a headcount instinctively. 'We're missing one-' He thinks to himself, before the realization slams into him, "Where's Tech?!" Panic weaves through his tone and Crosshair catches him by the arm.
"Let Wrecker get him," Crosshair murmurs, only for Hunter's ears, "if you try to move any of that, it could come down on both of you." Hunter snarls, but he knows Cross is right; all he can do is pray that Tech is still alive as Wrecker retrieves him.
Now I have no problems with the bad batch, I just don't know them well enough to ship them
Tech/Echo
Droidbait/Wolffe
And yeah that's about it. I have no problem if anyone like these ships, you like what you like I am not going to demand you to not like these, I am not that type of person.
