Rhys wasn’t the smartest tool in the shed, but he did pick up on things sometimes.
He handed Hunter a HUGE Ben & Jerry’s when he exited the bar.
“Maybe too on the nose,” he said.
“This is my offer of a listening ear... if you want it.”
His face was soft, after all, Rhys knew what it was like to be rejected by people, whether romantically or just for who he was.
“It’s my favourite, but you can eat it all if you want to.”
“Please tell me that you’re not being a fucking idiot at your office.” Holly muttered all too casually, knowing it was time for an update from her brother, and all that he had gotten on the town. Sometimes it felt like she was the only one moving them forward, especially in the realm of all things Mazzoni related. “Thankfully I’ve gotten us enough dirt to cover the both of us, as per usual.”
