        running her fingers through her hair, alex let out a sigh. she hadn’t expected to be there, no, the children that had been murdered, their parents had contacted the feds an demanded something to be done, something better than what their local police were doing and alex hated stepping on people’s toes, but when the captain agreed that it was probably best and that his team and squad were probably in over their heads, and could appreciate the help, so that’s where the fed was headed, she was headed to new york city, or rather she was already in the city and headed to the station. as she pulled up to the road, alex frowned at the paparazzi, couldn’t the children’s parents be left alone? placing her federal badge on the outside of her jacket, alex fixed herself up as she slipped out, ignoring the paps as she headed inside and headed to the first desk she saw “hi there, special agent alex parrish with the FBI, may I please see someone in regards to the child play case.?”
