Jane fought the instinct to squirm, not wanting Nathan to drop her. Instead she braced her hands against him so she could look back up at him--or, well, at least try to. Her brow furrowed into a confused frown.

"W-What--What are you d-doing?" she squeaked.

It wasn't that she didn't trust him. She just hadn't expected this at all.

The old building's floor is rotten and awkward under the foot. And a voice calls out suddenly and with something like humor in the tone.

"Are you really a journalist?" Erika asks the other person. She is planning on heading to the publishing world once she graduates. But that doesn't mean she doesn't admire other professions. She absolutely does. "That's so cool! Tell me, what's it like?"

She always likes hearing about what other people do, especially if they're passionate about it, as Erika is about publishing. She's always loved to read, and so she thinks having a say in what books get out there only makes sense for her. That doesn't change the fact that she's thoroughly intrigued by the other person's career.

“I’ll take your word for it, though I’m more of a boxing fan,” Wanda replied with a nod of her head at Nathan. They sat side by side in the center row of the stadium watching said hockey game. Her violet eyes shifted from the screen to the actual arena, watching the players closely. Hockey wasn't a sport that had particularly drawn to it, she was only here because Nathan had asked on a date. She was intrigued when she heard that players do occasionally get into altercations. Was Wanda hopeful that the players would start fighting? Maybe, though she could use her powers to influence them to cause the outcome she desired. "Are you having a good time, my dear?"
