Valenthal didn’t remember summoning anyone in the network to his home. So either she had faulty intel and got sent on a wild goose chase, or she was here bothering him from a spot of morning peace on her own accord. “Renfri. A pleasure as always. Did I send for you, or are you just needing my attention? Because I don’t recall sending for ANYONE to come to my home over the Thieves Guild headquarters to the south.”

Renfri chuckles at his words. "Actually, I'm here looking for information." She doesn't know if he'll have it or not. But she has to try. Syanna (and so many other women 'cursed' by the Black Sun) is counting on her. The other woman had offered to help, but Renfri had volunteered to do it alone. So hopefully she will be successful. If not, she will feel very embarrassed in front of her new friend. "As you've probably heard, I'm 'cursed' by the Black Sun. Thanks to a sorcerer called Stregobor, my life is what it is. But I want to help other women who are under this so called curse. To help them live a better life than I have, and for all of us together to fight against Stregobor's lies." A pause, Renfri looks up at him. "You wouldn't happen to know where I could find these women, would you? And Stregobor?" Hopefully he will. Even if he only knows of one other woman besides her and Syanna, it will be a place to start. And Stregobor, he has to be dealt with. Cast out for starting all this and lying about these poor young women. But first things first. First Renfri and Syanna have to find the other women who are 'cursed' like them.

@dalvrickgeirheim continued from here The vampire had gently undid the top fasteners of her blouse as she sat in his lap. “Just hold still for a moment, Ren. This will hurt for a moment. Hence why I refused the offer of your neck despite that being more efficient.” Dalvrick pressed his fangs into the young woman’s exposed left shoulder at the base of her neck. He gave her no more warning or words, only fed from her. His venom rushed quickly into her system, soon to bring her into euphoria. Any exchange of niceties for his companion’s donation would have to wait.

Renfri says nothing, simply holds still and allows him to do what is necessary so that he can drink her blood. For a moment, it does hurt. And then, it is....enjoyable? More than that. She is filled with a euphoric feeling, a pleasurable one. And she never could have predicted that. It must be a side effect of the bite of some kind. But had Renfri known it would be such a pleasure, she would likely have tried it sooner.

In any case, she stays as still as she possibly can. And lets him drink from her. Just enough to satisfy him, of course. Not enough to kill her. Hopefully. She had gotten a second chance at life and she doesn't intend to waste it. Nor does she intend to leave so soon.

It looks precocious but sturdy, and slowly, Devi exhales and flashes the other woman a bright smile. "You're good at this." Glancing back at the device between them, she shakes her head in impressed disbelief. "And everyone said it couldn't be done."

Hoa can't help but blush at the compliment. "Thanks. I really appreciate it."

She chuckles when the other person says that everyone said it couldn't be done. "All it needed was a bit of creativity and a dash of luck." She says with a smile.

Alex had just hung up from talking to Victoria about their revolution. Of course, she had been whispering, but she had known taking the call in a public place might be a bad idea. Someone could overhear, after all. Had he? Alex decides to play dumb, as she puts her phone away in her bag. "With what?"

Hopefully he means something else. Something innocuous, not her and Victoria's revolution at all. Alex will have to see what he means before fully reacting.

"Benedict. It is lovely to see you here." Thinya spoke those words warmly as she took a refreshment by the table. Lady Dabury's had thrown an afternoon party and all of the finest members of the ton were attending it. It had been a week since she had met Benedict, seen the beautiful portrait he had made of her. Her green hues sparkled as she looked at him kindly. "How have you been?"

Benedict smiles brightly as he hears Thinya's voice greeting him. He turns around to face her, still smiling brightly. "It is a pleasure to see you too." He replies, unable to stop a blush from creeping up his face. He is still thinking of the unfinished painting. Though it is closer to being finished now, he still has a long way to go before it is truly worthy of being presented to Thinya. The fact that she's seen it already doesn't matter to Benedict, as he wants to make sure it is a great painting before giving it to her. She deserves nothing less, from his perspective.

When asked how he's been, he chuckles. "A bit embarrassed, to be honest. That you saw the painting, I mean. Before I got to finish it. But otherwise doing well." Not that he wants her to feel bad for seeing it. It had just happened. Sometimes things happen. Still, he hopes that he can avoid any further twists of fate before he finishes the painting. He wants it to be truly worthy of her. To be as beautiful as she is. So hopefully he succeeds in that goal of his. "How about you, how have you been?" He looks at her, a curious expression in his eyes, and he is still blushing a bit.

Alex looks down at the object. It's her phone. She's relieved that the other person had noticed, because it would be a pain to have to get a new one. Especially without access to her contacts. How would she text Victoria and her pack members? No, she's glad he had noticed that she dropped it. "Yes, thank you." She picks it up and puts it in her pocket, hoping it won't fall out again.

"Thanks for noticing, you're a lifesaver." She says with a bright smile. "Who do I have to thank?"

This blog is now an archive. I will be moving to a blog I set up a while ago in case I ever wanted to move again, which is @realmythsnewidk. Going to change the URL to the regular one once I move over there. <3 Will also be saving drafts, etc.

My aunt is coming over today. Should be here in about a half hour to an hour. I'm still getting the urge to move. But idk. I'll think about it. I already have a blog I could move to, so that's not the issue. It's just...idk that I want to go through the having to wait to follow people thing, ya know?

Baby blog jail sucks. LOL. So I'll think about it. If I still want to, maybe I'll do it. If not I won't. But if I do move, I will be taking all but 13's drafts with me. (I've decided to start over with her threads seeing as there's a lot of them and it's been a while since I've been active with her.) I've changed my mind on that. Not sure if I /will/ move or not, but if I do, that is how it's going to go.

I will also be posting my ~special meme call~ on the new blog if I do move. So that I am encouraged to send more memes people's way. LOL. I love a good meme but always stop myself from sending them cause anxiety and/or laziness. But I want this to stop. I want to send more memes. <3

Lydia looks at Camille again, and her best friend nods. "Okay, sounds good," Lydia says with a smile. When he says that about Viktor having them followed, Lydia can't help but shudder. She hopes not. But it's better to be safe than sorry, of course. "Good idea. Thank you!" At Dalvrick's question, she looks thoughtful. She and Camille both like to read and if they're going to be here a while, some books would be nice. "I think I speak for both of us when I say that we'd love something to read."

Camille chuckles and says: "Yes, we would. Thank you."

Ula smiles when he says that about his father looking after everyone. Perhaps then he will know where Cascadia went. That could help Ula a whole lot in her search for her sister. Though she supposes she shouldn't get her hopes up too high. When he says that about Poseidon, Ula shrugs. "I haven't tried to ask." And she probably won't. Putting her mother on Poseidon's radar would probably not be well received. No, it's much better that Ula continues to search for her sister to the best of her ability, than risk her mother getting in trouble with a higher authority for losing one of her daughters.

"I wouldn't want to get my mother in trouble with him, you see." Her mother is proud as the Queen of the Sirens. And she hates having anyone tell her what to do. Though Ula has no doubt her mother wants Cascadia found, she also is sure that her mother would like to avoid any trouble or hits to her reputation in the process.

When he says that he can ask his father but can't guarantee an answer, she smiles softly. "That's alright. I appreciate you asking, all the same." Ula pauses, wondering what she should say next. Then she realizes, he hadn't introduced himself yet. All she knows for sure is that he is Hades' son, a demigod. But his actual name, Ula isn't sure about. "Who do I have the pleasure of speaking to?" She wonders aloud, smiling kindly as she waits for an answer.

Small circle like scars across said face as her parent scanned her with the Sonic. How a detestable a thing that sonic is. A low voice whispered in the back of her head and at the strange blue box appeared, a smirk crossing her lips before it was chased away with a sharp shake of her head. You stay away foul beast of burden. She was unaware her little inner monologue had a facial cue that something wasn’t all together upstairs.

As they watch to make sure Jenny is still following, they see her shake her head and look...in a way that makes them feel concerned about her. With a frown, they ask: "Are you alright?"

Hel regards Carmilla with the same measured curiosity. In a way, it's almost pleasant to have all out in the open from the get-go. They each are under no illusion. There is no need to act or lie. Aside from the glaring discreprancies in magical ability and rank, they are on equal footing.

"Well," the giantess laughed sheepishly, "there is some debate even now. But I'm.." She lifts her hand, wobbling it side to side in a so/so gesture, "60 percent sure." One corner of her mouth lifts in a small grin. She hopes Carmilla likes her joke.

Her brows rise and she quirks her temple forward briefly, "I would not say so.." She replies, "Humanity is not about the dying part."

Carmilla chuckles at the joke. She is glad the other feels comfortable around her. It's more than she can say for Laura at the moment. Which sucks, but Carmilla has to go on. She doesn't have any other option, does she? Being a vampire has its perks but it's also hard at times. Sometimes she wishes she was human. Sometimes she wishes Laura would become a vampire for her. Sometimes she wishes she had never fallen in love with that prissy overachiever. However, there's no point in regrets. Carmilla has to deal with the cards she's been dealt. Even if Laura does end up hating her forever, which is not a pleasant thought for Carmilla. At least Carmilla did try. She truly did.

At the other's words, Carmilla raises her eyebrows in surprise. "Oh? What is it about?" She wonders what the essence of humanity is. Then she thinks of Laura, her love, her prissy overachiever. Her loyalty, her bravery, her kindness. But surely Carmilla herself can't live up to all of that. Indeed, she doesn't think she does. But she doesn't say anything more, simply waits for an answer from the other person.
