These two 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I can’t be more proud of Pickles right now. She is so green but she more than makes up for it by a good attitude and pure try. Today, she once again walked into the show ring without a warmup trip and with the help of @eqolivia’s confident riding, she didn’t bat an eye at all.... even at the “scary oxer” that tripped up more than one experienced pony. So, Miss Pickles ended the weekend with a 3rd and 3 4ths over fences in an incredibly competitive 6-pony Children’s Hunter Pony division. Pony pony ❤️ I really couldn’t ask for more from this little one... first hunter show, second show ever, and she schooled a dream yesterday in the rain, professional on the flat and so solid to fences in all three rings. And then today she did her first under saddle in the performance hunters (talk about jumping off the deep end) and held her own in professional-ness with those horses. And then she did her pre-hunter fences and flat and was so willing and solid. Took advantage of the good weather today and jumped both kids around a bit to make sure they were sharp for this weekend’s hunter show. Pickles jumped her first oxer (with her normal attitude of “yeah, cool.
