"I don’t know what to do any more."

"I don't really know either." Kyouko admits, eyes cast to the side.

"I can't keep living this life but it's the only one I can live... God, Mami, what happened to us?"

"Homura...excuse the informal address but if you're present i require something of you. It's urgent."

A flash of purple light behind Mami signalled the Goddess's arrival.

"What is it, Tomoe Mami?"

7. Slave for a day

"H-Huh?! I'm.. what?"

"Miki-san? Kaname-san has told me that you seem to get angry at her for apparently no reason. Is that true? If not can you explain your side of this issue to me?"

Sayaka stared at Mami for a moment. Mami...Mami? Mami hardly approached her. 

"Madoka?" No wonder... "She said that, huh? Of course she did." She frowned a little bit. "I get mad at her sometimes. But it's because she provokes me." She slipped her hands into her pockets. "Not that I expect you to believe me. Not if she's the one you talked to first. She probably told you that I've been mean and hurting her or something...I bet she said it in such an innocent tone too." 

Sayaka tilted her head. "Are you asking me to explain because you actually want to know what's going on, or are you doing it already thinking that I'm going to lie to you?"

At this time, Mami kept thinking of her former trainee. She thought so much about Kyoko, she missed her…a lot, from how she’d come over a lot to how she would often eat most of what Mami had. The blonde laughed for a bit, then saddened as her feelings of longing returned. She wondered how close the two would have been if they had stayed together.

It had been so long now. Kyouko didn't know if Mami would welcome her back, or if she would be met with a door slamming in her face. The thing that made this worse was that there was no guarantee she could even stay... and oh how she needed Mami right now. She wanted the warmth that her senpai gave her.

All of that would explain why the Seraph had been sitting outside the door of Mami's apartment. She actually felt kind of pathetic. The red head was sitting there, crying most of the time, and wishing Mami could see her. Unfortunately, unless she herself willed it, Mami could not. It also meant that when she did will it, it would only last a few days or so at a time.

Finally, she gave in to her longing, and willed herself to take a physical form. "Mami-senpai... I miss ya so much."
