(1945) Hurd Hatfield and Angela Lansbury at the counter in Schwab's Pharmacy and (maybe) reading reviews of their film TGE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY, which was released in March of that year.
Baron Victor Frankenstein (Hammer Frankenstein movies)—Hot little shit, will emotionally manipulate you into doing bad science and look sexy with his tiny waist, sharp cheekbones, and fancy fits while doing it
Dorian Gray (The Picture of Dorian Gray)—Probably the best adaptation of The Picture of Dorian Gray (though that isn’t saying a lot) and a majority of that can be contributed to Hurd Hatfield’s performance as Dorian. Also, the way he plays with this knife (scalpel? whatever) does something for me.
