I like doing these to be able to reflect in a year, so let’s see: 

Continue playing the NSB fam

NSB Goal: Get to Addie’s gen

Continue with the monthly themes

Continue making poses as you have time for them

Pose Goal: Make the family portrait set that’s been on your mind fo a minute

Continue having fun!

That’s really it! I don’t want to put any pressure on any of my saves aside from NSB since it means the most to me. So we’ll see how this year goes. See you at the end of it!

One of the BEST things about the novel The Price of Salt is salty Therese (yes I went there, but bear with me). This girl gets SO JEALOUS of Abby about absolutely everything and it is to die for. The movie didn’t do justice to their relationship. In the book, they have a whole bunch of scenes in which everything they say and do is just SO DAMN PETTY it’s hilarious. They even have a whole lunch where they just try to one up each other on who knows Carol better. Just read this quote about Therese: “She went down to the lobby and sat there reading an article on corn weevils in the Corngrower’s Gazette, and wondered if Abby knew all that about corn weevils” MY GIRL THERESE IS LITERALLY WONDERING IF ABBY KNOWS MORE ABOUT CORN WEEVILS THAN HERSELF. CORN WEEVILS. No you silly goose of course Abby doesn’t know more about corn weevils than you. Carol doesn’t even care how much you know about corn weevils. But Therese is just so damn smug about her new found corn weevil knowledge it kills me because it just so. damn. petty. And realistic. I love it. This book is great.

blbughlb honestly talking to people verbally is so stressful

like

i dunno man. i just hate it because im so aware of the fact that i dont have very good cadence and i stress the wrong tones because im an autistic fuck and im bad at volume control and thinking quickly while speaking and i mix things up or say things that dont make sense to other people, and thats ignoring the fact that i stutter and stammer and stumble enough that its pretty blatantly noticable

its not as bad when im really comfortable and having a good time but by default im just awful at speaking and it makes me feel crummy after even little interactions with like my mom or cashiers or whatever because i just feel. sloppy and uneducated and dysfunctional

I think the Tumblr timeline borked itself. Makes finding stuff a bit o' a minefield, but eh, I've seen worse.
