#TBT - A photo collage of Holland's Shelter Creek Restaurant in Burgaw, NC on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 (last month). It’s truly a unique place offering a campground with cabins and water adventures as well as a restaurant offering very picturesque views of the “creek” (river) while patrons dine. It’s also one of the few places I know where frog legs are served. Unfortunately, ALL of it is flooded (up to the roof) now as a result of #HurricaneFlorence and I think it’s worse than when #HurricaneFloyd flooded it in September of 1999. #TBT - This is a picture of me taken on Saturday, August 4th, 2018 (last month) at Holland's Shelter Creek Restaurant in #Burgaw (which was flooded during #HurricaneFloyd in September of 1999). I’m standing beside the historical high water mark sign (22 feet, 6 inches).
