See this burger? BEST. BURGER. EVER. And it comes with a story. As you all know south Texas is pretty slammed with Hurricane Harvey, and even though my city didn't have damage, everyone decided on Thursday to freak the hell out and go to the gas station to fill up their car because there were rumors of a gas shortage. There wasn't, but everyone rushing to fill up their tanks.... caused stations to run out. Good job, San Antonio! Luckily I'd filled up my tank the night before, but oh my God, y'all, there were lines for gas hours/miles long. It was absolutely nuts. It took a co-worker 2 HOURS to go only seven miles. I tried to get lunch on my break... and had to turn around after 20 minutes because I hadn't even gone half a mile, and I hadn't eaten anything so I was starving. And then my savior came! One of the new resident's relatives went out and got me this hamburger for free like an absolute angel from heaven. And I cried. I inhaled it in about 5 minutes it was that good. #HurricaneHarvey #hurricanesnacks #cheeseburger (at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen)
