Got this wonderful commission from @hurricanesunny a month or so ago and almost forgot to post it. Sprinkle moved onto my island as a surprise and I got Norma from island hopping just cause she looked cute and I wanted to check her out. Turns out Norma is a surprise favorite of mine now!! She’s so sweet and cute that I just fell in love with her so entirely!! 

I noticed that Norma and Sprinkle talked to each other and hung out more than any of the other villagers and I came to the decision that they’re obviously girlfriends <3

ok idk if this will help u out at all in ur human musings but in the acnh museum there is a room that has like. a lineup of different villager species and theres little lines that go down to some fossils theyre related to (for example, the cat villager is linked to the sabre tooth tiger) and theres a prehistoric human skull or s/t and the monkey n human r both linked to it. so in ac its still true tht humans n monkeys have a common ancestor (cont)

THE MYSTERY DEEPENS??? i like that humanoid animals also evolved alongside humans it makes me think of the absolutely lovely historical pictures and baroque paintings and stuff. peaceful co-existence. 

the domesticated animals thing fucks me up though. does it make other villagers uncomfortable when you have non-domesticated pets??? I WOULD BE UNCOMFORTABLE IF I STROLLED INTO A VILLAGERS HOUSE AND HAD A DOG SIZED NEANDERTHAL IN A CAGE
