Thinking about Horror feeling that his old self was naive and sheltered. He's cynical now, suspicious, more secretive than before.
When he first meets Red, the first thought he ha was 'Where was he when he lost his eye? When the mayor of Snowdin interrogated him? When he and Papyrus nearly starved to death?'
He's slow to trust again, cold and dismissive. Snarky when he used to be playful.
It's this change that makes Red hurt but he wasn't surprised. Bad things happen to all kinds of worlds, he just never expected it to happen to his Classic.
Snark? Aggression? Trust issues? He came from a world full of people like that. And he was determined to rekindle their love.
