Rebuilding the walkway through the woods today.
Three years ago we cut some palettes in half and nailed chicken wire to them and chucked them on the bog and it’s been a dodgy but sufficient walkway.
Can’t run a wheelbarrow over it though, and now I need to move all my studio kit over there it’s time for improvements!
We placed big foot thick telegraph poles cut into about 1m lengths across the bog then ran long poles over them and nailed decking down. Simple really. And satisfying in the sun. We’ve probably done about a third of the way.
