reid had been updating the chalkboard in the front of the room ( by hand, no less; hey, it’s relaxing, okay? ) when a student had asked him one of life’s more UNANSWERABLE questions, and his hand sort of skewed down the board, the chalk screeching against the wood.
“ no, i don’t have a ‘ thing ‘ for professor sinistra !! what in merlin’s ----- what in merlin’s name makes you think that ?? ” he squeaks as he hurriedly erases the stray mark with his sleeve.
luca squinted at the ceiling, deep in thought. where had he left his care of magical creatures notes? with a sigh, he tried to retrace his steps, head bowed down as the papers could have fallen on the floor. distracted from looking ahead of where he was going, he bumped into an unsuspecting person; “shit! i’m so sorry! i should’ve looked where i was going!”
